Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) Leadership Team Openings

We currently have openings for two ad hoc members of the ARIS Leadership Team. To be considered for one of these positions, please complete the form below, including a brief statement of interest (two pages maximum) with the form.

The statement of interest should describe:

  1. your experience with research impacts,
  2. your organizational leadership experience,
  3. your interest in serving on the ARIS Leadership Team, and
  4. your relevant skills, and expected contributions to ARIS.

The available positions are open to all members of the ARIS community. Selection will be made with an eye toward disciplinary and organizational diversity with a special interest in adding individuals to the leadership team who bring expertise and experience in the social and behavioral sciences, arts and humanities.

Leadership team member responsibilities include participating in monthly leadership team meetings (via Zoom), working groups, Summit planning, and strategic planning for ARIS (along with other things). The steering committee meets in person twice each year — prior to the spring Summit and in the fall. New members will be appointed for 24-month terms and are expected to participate in the spring meeting prior to the 2020 BI Summit in Durham. This is a voluntary position, but travel expenses are paid.
