The ARIS 2020 Virtual Summit will be held April 28th-30th, 2020. It will provide a unique online experience complementary to, though not identical, our traditional in-person Summit. Attendees can anticipate interactive workshops and sessions and designated times for networking with global colleagues.

The three-day event will incorporate the majority of the agenda originally scheduled for the Durham Summit, including panel sessions "MSIs and R-1s: Successful Partnering for Broader Impacts," and "Engaging Communities of Faith in Broader Impacts Activities." Featured keynotes will include:

  • Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier, Interim Director of the National Science Foundation; Director, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy;
  • Dr. Suzi Iacono, Office of Integrative Activities, National Science Foundation;
  • Dr. Mohamed Noor, Dean of the Natural Sciences, Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, Duke University
