Sara Vassmer

Sara Vassmer, PhD serves as Director for Operations for NSF-funded Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) and Director of The Connector, the University hub for ARIS. She earned her doctorate in Education from the University of Missouri, with a background in prevention-based research in alcohol and substance use issues. Dr. Vassmer has more than a decade of experience in research development and research impact, community outreach, professional and program development. In her spare time she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.
