BI Champion Award

The Broader Impacts Champion award honors individuals who have contributed significantly to establishing and advancing the NSF broader impacts criterion, or who have contributed significantly to the realization of the vision of broader impacts of scientific research. Honorees have played a role in defining and implementing consideration for broader impacts as a part of science and research, and/or have contributed to building a professional community around this consideration. Broader Impacts Champions are tireless advocates for the impact of research in society.
