Program to Enhance Organizational Research Impact Capacity

For several years, ARIS and its predecessor, the National Alliance for Broader Impacts, have delivered professional development workshops at individual institutions across the United States. As the demand for this training has steadily increased over the years, it has become apparent that ARIS can amplify its impact by working with organizations to help them build/expand their own capacity to support research impact (RI) efforts at the organizational level.

This led us to establish the Program to Enhance Organizational Research Impact Capacity.

On June 17, 2020 ARIS launched a pilot of this program with the following five institutions as participants:

In the fall of 2020 we will be putting out a call for the next cohort of organizations to participate in this program. For more information on applying, please see Frequently Asked Questions.

Deadline to apply, and other important dates

  • Applications for the first cohort are due by November 1, 2020
  • Decisions will be announced December 1, 2020
  • Program will begin for the first cohort in December 2020, and run through the 2022 ARIS Summit.
